Hi All,

Well Potters has come and gone. What a great turn out more dancers than last year. We will be doing it all again 14th May 2010 so if you want to go get it booked.

top requested dances this year were Amame & the Informer once I taught it.

Black & White night looked superb with the floor full with almost everyone getting into the spirit of the theme. Next year Saturday theme will be HAWAIIAN night. (needless to say I DID NOT pick this theme lol) can't really se me in a ra ra skirt.

Anyway thanks to all for a great weekend.

SUNDAY WORKSHOP

Posted by Mary at 07:35 PM on April 02, 2009 Comments comments (0)

Hi there,

Thanks to all who turned out for the workshop on 29th March. We did work hard and got through a lot of new dances including the challenging "All I Got"  plus a few revisions of the latest ones we've been doing..

I was amazed at the turnout and am sure the next one at the end of April will be just as busy if not more so as it is the pre potters one which is always busy.

I am looking at holding workshops on a regular basis so keep checking the events coming up to find out dates and details of these.

Unfortunately Fred our Wed. caretaker is in hospital as he has been ill but I will keep you all posted re his wellbeing. On behalf of the class I will send our get well wishes.

Thursday night is building up with a healthy turnout and great atmosphere. The beginners are really picking the dances up quickly and keeping me on my toes to keep them challenged.

I wish you all a happy easter and remind you Wed. is closed for one week only on the 8th April due to Holy Week in the church.

Shall be leaving a little blog every couple of weeks now as I have been neglecting my site due to other committments but am finally getting organised and shall keep you all posted with any info you might like.

I have just come back from Potters where I was teaching . What a great crowd of dancers were there. Great to meet up with old friends and make new ones. I reckon at the moment country tracks are making a comeback in linedancing - which is why I got into line dancing in the first place as I love country music. Anyone agree ???  Scottish Jan
